The Glossary of Education Reform

Effective Learning
PractEZ delivers independent, personalized practice sessions to the students in the form of MCQs that can be answered by simple clicking-type interactions - and receive immediate feedback on correctness of response.
Effective Teaching
PractEZ delivers formative data from the practice sessions to teachers the very next day as a simplified report of student performance that can be used to drive future instruction.
The Challenge
Despite education reforms, learning gaps persist. Less than 50% of Grade 5 students can solve a simple division problem, and the performance of Grade 8 students in basic arithmetic is under 50% (ASER 2024). Half of all schools don’t have qualified math teachers (SOTTTER 2023), forcing under-prepared educators into classrooms. To compensate, the education board of MH is even considering lowering passing marks for Math and Science from 35 to 20—a worrying reflection of the systemic crisis.
Without access to effective learning tools, students from underserved communities risk falling even further behind, limiting their future opportunities. If we don’t act now, these gaps will only widen.
Through PractEZ, the flagship initiative of Amaatra Education Foundation, the aim is to improve the teaching-learning process through the low-tech blended model to bridge educational gaps and ensure no student is left behind.
